a The Transit Lounge

The Original Story: Approaching 25, I had a quarterlife crisis, headed to Osaka, Japan for the unknown only to discover that a passport & plane ride are not necessarily a ticket to escape. The Recent Story: Approaching 30 & settled back in Oz, I found the man of my dreams, whose job then happened to move him to Tokyo. Which is how a passport & plane ride showed me home is where the heart is. And so begins Japan: Mark 2

Back on Track

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Somewhat overdue I know, but with good reason.

It's been a long 5 months of pregnancy. I have neglected just about everything I could get away with due to a little nasty thing known as morning sickness. But now I think it's all behind me and I can get back to things I love - including the blog.

Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Pregnant? There's an App for That!

Woohoo - my article on the front page of The Age website today. Little bit excited (click the blog title to read...). And it was on the front page of the Sydney Morning Herald's site too!

Noosa - Done and Dusted

Woohooo - on OCtober 31, I completed the Noosa Tri with my husband. Pretty special stuff - considering I was very close to pulling out because of horrible morning sickness. Yes, I crossed the line nearly 10 weeks pregnant.

Side Note: Ben and I pulled a Pair Rooku without even realising until we saw this photo. How embarrassment.
