Cannibal Superstar

Just finished watching a documentary called Cannibal Supertar. It was about Issei Sagawa, a Japanese man who, while living in France, murdered and cannibalized a Dutch woman nearly three decades ago.

To cut a long story short, he was extradited to Japan, where he was unable to be legally held as Japan has no laws on holding people with mental issues etc - of course they don't. And although Sagawa has even recently still said he harbours strong desires to eat women, particularly at the beginning of each summer when women dress in a way that shows more skin, he still roams free in Tokyo.

Sagawa is also a minor celebrity in Japan - seriously, wtf??!
